"commercials re:re:lease dix studio mix" Well, once upon a time there was this guy who lived in Perth, and he decided in the Australian spring of the year 2000, that he was finally going to produce enough tracks of a sufficient quality that it should be called an album. And that album was named COMMERCIALS. Commercials was released to various girlfriends and the closest of mates and received generally positive reviews. DJ TELAXU being the insatiable beast he is, just decided to keep producing more tracks once that was done with. Initially the vision had been to release commercials on vinyl, but with various amounts of study going on towards varying amounts of a design degree - DJ TELAXU and his trusty studio producer Richard Reitzenstein (Dix - currently Richard Parker) left the commercials saga in the dust. I thought seeing as it is almost five years since the first version of commercials surfaced it would be appropriate to re - release it on my marvelous new website! The mix of the album I have chosen is probably the third last "final" mix that Dick and I came up with, Dick helped me tremendously with the themes, artwork, track review and arrangement for this album. This mix was completely Dick's own hence "Dix Studio Mix", with his reproduction work evident on mercials, axuakoa and a few little touches to cryshtio and the catch. Otherwise it is a fair facsimile of the final "final" mix that I ended up with and what I would want to be experienced as "the album".

It is a big dot zed iye pee file, about one hundred and fifty or so megabytes... if you can't open zips let me know and i can give you a link to a different file format...

Running time is one hour, eight minutes and twenty eight seconds. Format is mpthree at forty four kilohertz and one hundred and twenty eights bits.

The cover art for commercials was created by Richard Reitzenstein, many many versions were created and I loved them all. This version is my favourite, I have added a little extra text to update the track listing etc and the new title obviously.

If you'd like the artwork in a different format, or you'd like me to send you a cd of this or other tracks just email me.
