"How High Is The Sky? " is a commonly misunderstood phrase and sometimes is used as a hypothetical question when addressing certain attendees at parties that one might host or attend, particularly the ones who are incapable of a response. The track is bellish, as in daniel, but only toward the end and this happened as a happy accident. The initial direction of the track is naturally atmospheric in nature, although I might actually prefer to call this elevatorial... climbing the big old elevator up to the sky... just to see once and for all how high is the sky. Running time is seventeen minutes and twenty three seconds. Format is mpthree at forty four kilohertz and one hundred and twenty eights bits. The cover art for How High Is The Sky? was created by me, it's the building in Vancouver with an observatory at the top and external elevators, not the tallest building in Vancouver, I like the way this image poses a kind of post-communist post-cold war where are we now question and what sort of ride is this anyway? You know? This elevator we are taking up to the sky, where is it taking us? Hope you like it, Myles :) This background is not the actual cover art, it is a low saturation, low light copy of my original piece of artwork which was created in order that you might be able to read this text... If you'd like the artwork in a different format, or you'd like me to send you a cd of this or other tracks just email me. djtelaxu.net - home - music - how high is the sky? |
